In pre-production for PALABRA: the 2013 edition

Nice layout of an image over text.  Could we do this with our slides for PALABRA: 2013 edition?

\ by any stretch / video

The "instructional video" is up now (finally). It took about 3.5 hours to upload to YouTube today. ~ Anyway, here it is! (PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THE LINK WITH NON-PARTICIPANTS OF OUR PROJECT.) This is for your eyes only, por favor.

 The basic "recipe":
 1.  Consider levels that you can use; occupy vertical space in interesting and various ways.
2.  The lettering style (block, cursive, bubble, etc.) you choose to use as you air-write your piece will greatly influence your  tempo, pacing, and range of motion.
3.  Repeat letters or words, if you find yourself enjoying that  particular gesture, flourish, or motion.
4.  Focus on what you are "writing."  Your gaze should remain on your lettering motions, for the most part.
5.  For longer pieces, you may not get through ALL of the words in your written piece by the time your two minutes is up.  That's fine.  Don't worry abt that.  You may even decide you want to re-write your piece, telling it with different words from what you emailed to me.
